Getting Around by Taxi |
Local taxi services are the most common way of transport for
visitors in Dubai, and habitually the most convenient. Most
companies offer metered taxis with a pickup fee.

Getting Around by Car |
Getting a driving permit in Dubai is not difficult. The
International Driving Permit is valid in the UAE. Tourists can
get a temporary local driving permit.

Getting Around by Bus |
Dubai has a large public transport system that operates more
than 60 fixed routes within the city’s districts and moves
roughly 90 million people each year.

Getting Around by Boat |
An easier form of crossing Dubai Creek is by abras, which are
traditional water-taxis with small motors affixed. Abra stations
are situated along the creek.
