Kathmandu Valley: |
|
Kathmandu, historically known as the city of temples,
is the capital city of the Kingdom of Nepal. This historical city has
remained unchanged since the Middle Ages. Other regal sister cities in
the valley are Lalitpur and Bhaktapur. The Kathmandu valley (1450 M.) is
famous for its cultural heritage, scenic beauty, ethnic settlements, and
pilgrimages of holiest shrines for Hindus and Buddhists. There are seven
World Heritage Sites declared by the UNESCO in the Kathmandu valley (400
sq.kms.) itself. This city, a cultural hub, is the centre for various
attractions for all Nepal visitors.

Manichaur, Phulchoki, Shivapuri Wildlife Reserve,
Nagarjun hill, Kakani, Champa Devi, Nagarkot, Dhulikhel, Chisopani, etc.

Pokhara Valley: |
Pokhara valley (827m.) lies in 200 Km west of
Kathmandu valley. The valley is the most popular destination in Nepal
after Kathmandu. It is the second biggest city of Nepal where around
135000 inhabitants live. This city became the most interesting
especially when explorers found that it is the only valley in the world
below 1000m from where one can see snow capped mountains higher than
8000m. These mountains lie in about 25 to 35 km. Arial distance. This
valley is a gateway to start trekking in the worlds world famous
trekking areas such as the Fishtail, Annapurna and Dhaulagiri area. More
than 70% of the total trekkers of Nepal trek in the Annapurna region.
There are seven lakes including the second biggest lake of the country
in this beautiful valley and it is known as the most beautiful tourist
valley of Nepal.

Lumbini: |
The birthplace of Lord Buddha. The site was described
as a beautiful Garden in the Buddha's time and still retains its
legendary charm and beauty. It is located 150km south from the tourist
city of Pokhara.

Nagarkot: |
A resort town, in the rim of Kathmandu valley, famous
for Sunrise and Sunset view. It is 30km south from Kathmandu. Various
sorts of hotels with modern amenities are available here.

Dhulikhel: |
A resort town, east of Kathmandu valley, famous
for countryside tour and historical significance.

Manakamana Temple: |
A scenic and pilgrim spot and is reached by
Cable Car or half day trek. This is the origin place of Shah Dynasty and
Great king Prithvi Narayan shah was born there and his processes of
unifying Nepal started from there about 200 years ago. The present king
is an 11th generation descendant of him. There is a great temple called
Manakamana Temple. It is a famous temple where you wish to fulfill your
wishes. It is located about 90 km west from Kathmandu.

Gorakha: |
A mid-hill town lies between Kathmandu and Pokhara.
The legend of Gurkhas begins here. Sightseeing: Gorkha Durbar, Gorkha
Nath Temple, Gorakh Kali Temple, etc. Starting point of Trek to Manaslu
region.

Janakpur: |
A birthplace of Janaki Sita in Terai, a region of
Mithila Arts and Craft.

Tansen: |
Tansen is located 1300 meters on the south
Flank of Srinagar hill, between Pokhara and Lumbini and remains
untouched by mass tourism. The greatest attractions of this town are its
ancient culture, friendly people, excellent mountain views and it's
serene atmosphere. Most famous for seminars.

Khaptad: |
Khaptad National Park extendeds to an area of 225sq
km and is situated in the Far Western region of Nepal at an elevation of
3000m. it is largely a rolling plateau with grasslands and oak and
coniferous forests. It is blessed with great natural beauty, vast
wilderness and diverse ecology, flora, and fauna. It can be reached by
air/road transport and then trek.
